Job Description
Cargo Van Driver En Marche Forward, LLC Shreveport, LA 71105 Overview We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Cargo Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and ensuring timely deliveries. The delivery routes can be local, regional, and OTR. This role also requires excellent customer service skills, as you will interact with clients during pickups and drop-offs. The Van Driver will be responsible for maintaining the vehicle and adhering to all traffic regulations. Tracking apps and other apps may be required. Duties Safely operate a van to transport goods to designated locations. Freight is no touch; if touch is required, there will be additional compensation. Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining punctuality. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required. Follow all contractor documentation guidelines for pickups and drop-offs. Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic regulations while driving. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. At least one year of experience in route driving or as a delivery driver is preferred for local routes. If regional or over-the-road, at least two years experience required with verifiable experience. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Previous experience in commercial driving or as a courier is a plus. Pass a background check Drug screening required and will occur periodically. A dependable work ethic with attention to detail and time management skills. Compensation Weekly pay Performance bonuses Retention bonus after 90 days.
