Our facilities are based in Houma, LA, but our operations reach from Texas to Alabama. The position is for both a full-time and a part-time driver to take our crews from our Houma facility to their crew change locations. Position:

▪ The successful candidate will have a Louisiana Class D Chauffer’s License. ▪ A clean driving record for at least the past 3 years. ▪ No history of DUI / DWI or any other significant driving issues. ▪ A TWIC card (Transportation Worker’s Identification Credential) ▪ Is available 7 days a week ▪ Is willing to work at odd hours. Many of our crew changes call for early arrival (for example 5:00 AM) and you will sometimes be picking up people as early as 2:00 AM. ▪ We also have airport pickup and drop off trips and they are sometimes on the weekends. ▪ You will drive your vehicle to our facility, then use a SONOCO van to drive the crew(s) to their location(s): ▪ You must be willing to wait to pick up incoming crews (you are paid for waiting time at your regular rate of pay). ▪ You should understand that the hours per week vary. For part-time one week may only be 12 hours, and the next as many as 25 or more. For full-time drivers, you may work between 35 and 50 hours per week. Flexibility is key. ▪ You must be able to pass a medical examination (we pay for it and our doctor performs it). ▪ Drug tests are given before hire and periodically at random after hire.
