Participate in safety meetings and required training sessions. Summary We are seeking a Van Driver to join our team at Rock and Roll Daycare. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting children to and from our daycare facility, ensuring their comfort and security during transit. Your contribution will be vital in supporting our mission to provide an enriching environment for young learners. Responsibilities Safely transport children to and from daycare while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle used for transportation. Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding pick-up and drop-off schedules. Assist children in boarding and exiting the vehicle safely. Monitor children’s behavior during transit to ensure a safe environment. Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly to management. Requirements Always conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle at the end of each trip. Always check the van at the end of each trip to ensure all children were dropped off Ensure students board and exit the bus safely. Maintain order and discipline on the bus in accordance with district policies. Report any delays, accidents, or incidents to the appropriate authorities. Maintain a clean and well-kept bus interior. Assist students with disabilities or special needs as required. Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel use, and student counts.
