Raleigh, NC 27610 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting clients, particularly seniors and children, to various destinations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to manage behavior effectively during transit. Responsibilities Safely operate a van to transport children to designated locations. Ensure the comfort and safety of all passengers during transit. Assist children and camp counselors entering and exiting the vehicle as needed. Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle by performing routine checks and minor mechanical maintenance. Educate passengers about safety protocols and behavior expectations during travel. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from Camp counselors. Document any incidents or issues that arise during transportation. Communicate effectively with team members regarding schedules and Summer Camp needs. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Experience as a van driver or in a similar transportation role is preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with children. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to ensure a safe environment for all passengers. Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance is advantageous. Previous experience in senior care or working with children is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to write clear reports regarding transportation activities and incidents.
