GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITES
Responsible for the care, removal and transport of human remains in accordance with all state, local and company policies and procedures.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES
Performs removals of deceased from hospital, nursing home or residence to transport to mortuary, funeral home, or medical examiner’s office. May perform removals from prep rooms or embalming facilities as well. Maintains and ensures removal vehicle is clean inside and out and is properly maintained. Requirements & Qualifications Must be 21 or older Must be able to lift min. 100 lbs Must live within 30 minutes of coverage are
Certification/License:
Valid Driver’s License with Clean Driving Record Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Demonstrate a strong work ethic and be self-motivated with a desire to serve others Professional appearance required Ability to follow instructions given over the phone or in person Ability to work and communicate effectively with others Able to perform assigned task without direct supervision Able to provide honesty, respect and compassion for the deceased and their families Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work on rotating on call schedule. Must pass a criminal background check
