STATEMENT OF JOB:
The Transportation Concierge will provide safe transportation services to residents of the community. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Policies/Procedures/Administration Provide van transportation to the residents on a scheduled basis and for special trips sponsored through the activity department Assist in developing routes and schedules based on resident needs and requests Keep appropriate records. Maintain mileage log, repair log, trip and expenses as required Keep receipts for expenses and submit them to Life Enrichment Director Keep van clean inside and out. Ensure routine maintenance and needed repairs are performed in a timely manner Report any accidents/incidents to supervisor and Harmony Senior Services immediately Maintain a working knowledge of all policies and procedures pertaining to the department Attends all required in-services and staff meetings Completes all other duties as assigned
Residents:
Assists residents on and off of the van Ensures of resident safety at all times Follows confidentiality policies at all times regarding release of resident information
Staff:
Assists Activities/Programming Department with activities as assigned Assists Activities/Programming Department with activities as assigned

Must have a High School Diploma or GED Must have a safe driving record and provide a copy of DMV record to Executive Director Must have current driver’s license designated to permit operating the type of vehicle used by the community Must be polite and considerate of residents, visitors, co-workers and supervisor Must be organized and willing to work with others as part of a team Must be physically and mentally capable of performing job duties Must be able to ascend and descend stairs frequently, operate a wheelchair lift, and push a resident in a wheelchair Must be able to represent the residence in a professional manner with neat dress and courteous manner. May be required to wear designated uniform Must be able to work a flexible schedule including some weekend and evening hours Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
