Job Description:
Final Victory Animal Rescue is seeking a reliable, professional, and compassionate Transport Driver to join our team. This critical role involves transporting rescued dogs and cats from our facility in South Carolina to their adoptive homes in New England each weekend in a cargo van. Transports typically depart on Fridays and return by Sunday . This position requires a deep commitment to animal welfare, excellent driving skills, and exceptional communication with adopters and our rescue team.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive our rescue transport van along established routes from SC to New England and back. Ensure the safety, comfort, and cleanliness of all animals during the trip. Provide timely and professional communication with adopters during scheduled hand-offs. Adhere to all traffic laws, animal welfare protocols, and Final Victory procedures. Perform routine safety checks on the transport van before and after each trip. Complete transport logs and communicate updates with the rescue team.
Qualifications:
Clean driving record (required; MVR will be checked) Excellent references from previous employers Must pass a drug screening Prior professional driving experience preferred, especially long-distance Comfortable handling dogs and cats of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor with adopters and team members Must be at least 25 years old for insurance purposes Able to lift 50 lbs and work in a physically active role Why Join Final Victory Rescue?
