When Carter Herman joined Tallo prior to his senior year of high school, he was impressed with how easy it was to connect with opportunities on the platform. In fact, through Tallo, he received a software development internship and communicated with Air Force/ROTC programs that reached out to him on the platform. Carter has a lot of experience as a FIRST participant and alumni and is passionate about bringing STEM opportunities to students around the world. In his piece on eSchool News, Carter, now a Cadet Third Class at the United States Air Force Academy studying aeronautical engineering, discusses how technology has helped him accomplish his “big-picture global dreams” on his personal, academic, and professional pathway.
