Description
Foreman Job Details Description The Foreman is responsible for overseeing and directing the daily operations of refrigeration projects. This role involves supervising a team of skilled workers and ensuring that all projects adhere to specified standards, timelines, and budgets. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in refrigeration systems, strong leadership abilities, and a keen eye for detail to ensure the successful execution of project objectives.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Supervise and direct the daily operations of refrigeration projects. Lead a team of skilled workers to ensure adherence to specified standards, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless project integration and execution. Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to maintain high standards of workmanship. Provide technical guidance and support to team members. Develop and implement project plans and schedules. Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to meet project objectives. Manage resource allocation and ensure efficient use of materials and equipment. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders. Drive a company vehicle to customer sites to fulfill work orders. Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and components Excellent leadership and team management skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Proficient in using industry-specific tools and software Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and organizational skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently Ability to work in various environmental conditions Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols Basic computer and phone skills
Education/Experience:
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 5 years of experience in refrigeration maintenance or a similar field Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to addressing technical issues Proficiency in understanding and interpreting technical drawings and specifications Familiarity with refrigeration systems, tools, and equipment Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written OSHA 30-hour certification required
Travel Requirements:
