We are seeking a skilled and reliable Equipment Operator to support the installation of natural gas service lines. This role is responsible for operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently while working closely with the crew to complete projects on time. Operate heavy equipment (mini-excavator, trencher, etc.) Perform trenching and excavation for gas line installation Work closely with the Foreman and crew to complete daily tasks Ensure proper depth, alignment, and job quality installation Assist with labor duties when equipment is not in use Perform basic equipment inspections and maintenance Identify and avoid underground utilities (follow 811 markings) Maintain a clean and safe job site Follow all safety procedures and company standards Hiring requirements Driver License Experience operating heavy equipment (1-3+ years preferred) Ability to safely trench around utilities (VERY
IMPORTANT
for your work) Strong awareness of surroundings and safety Reliable and punctual (this matters as much as skill) Ability to follow directions and work with a crew Experience in utility or gas line work preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
