Seeking a compassionate and experienced professional interested in working with families in our Family Preservation/Observed Parenting Time program. Hours are per diem and mostly require evening and weekend availability. Must be 21+, be able to pass a BCI&I check, and be excellent at real time objective documentation of observed parenting time with advanced typing speed, grammatical skills, and internet/app/computer use skills. Duties include, but are not limited to: Observe, monitor, report on, and provide a safe/confidential observed parenting time environment for children/families. Utilize advanced crisis de-escalation skills to maintain clean/safe/confidential environment. Manage environmental changes, interactions, and any issues that arise Educate program participants on program rules and conduct standards through program orientation and consistently throughout participation in program. Maintain ability to assess necessity for and implement early termination of a parenting time visit as deemed appropriate (if there are any improper conduct, rule violations, etc.). Clearly define and consistently enforce program rules and guidelines with all parties involved, notifying referral sources and stakeholders when and where violations occur, and collaborating with stakeholders accordingly. Participate in program scheduling of visits by coordinating days/times for all parties involved. Provide grammatically correct and thorough typed/written reports regarding the details of conduct and activities throughout parenting time visits in real time during the session. Communicate documented reports same day to corresponding referral sources/stakeholders efficiently. Communicate effectively with team, other programs/providers utilizing shared spaces, leadership, and externally with all community stakeholders. Provide a high level of problem-solving, solution-focused and teamwork skills. Demonstrate sufficient awareness/expertise of child safety and welfare standards as a mandatory reporter. Experience, strength, and comfortability working with families who have abuse/neglect situations required. Knowledge and expertise in child development required. Typing speed of at least 70wpm is preferred. Must have availability for flexible scheduling, specifically for evenings (3p-9p) and weekends.
