Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a positive, energetic, and motivated Recreational Gymnastics Coach to join our coaching team. The Recreational Coach will be responsible for teaching gymnastics fundamentals to children of various ages and skill levels in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about working with kids, promotes confidence and teamwork, and can provide structured yet engaging classes. Duties Plan and lead recreational gymnastics classes for athletes ranging from preschool through school-age. Teach basic skills in gymnastics (tumbling, bars, beam, vault, trampoline, strength, and flexibility). Ensure safety of all athletes by properly spotting skills, enforcing safety rules, and maintaining equipment. Create a positive, inclusive environment that builds confidence, discipline, and teamwork. Provide constructive feedback to athletes and communicate progress with parents when appropriate. Assist with recreational events, showcases, and seasonal programs. Maintain a clean and organized gym space before, during, and after classes. Uphold the mission and values of the gymnastics program. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills or experiences: Previous gymnastics, cheer, dance, or coaching experience preferred (training available). Passion for working with children in a positive, motivating way. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to work evenings and/or weekends depending on class schedules. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Minimum age requirement:
16+ (depending on gym policy).
