Job Title:
Café Attendant , Part time (20-24 hrs per week)
Hours Vary:
7:00AM
3:30PM and/or 11:00AM
7:30PM and/or 3:30PM-7:30PM.
20-24 hours per week to include every other weekend.
Pay:
Starting at $17.60per hour

Dining Services Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately. Take orders and serve customers in a friendly, timely manner. Prepare short-order food using approved recipes, production standards, and portion controls. Operate kitchen equipment including fryer, grill, steam table, flat top, and turbo chef. Ensure proper food preparation, handling, presentation, storage, labeling, and rotation. Maintain a clean, safe work environment; clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils. Comply with all federal, state, and local health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Address customer concerns and escalate to management when necessary. Work collaboratively with team members to meet service, inventory, and cash control standards. Demonstrate knowledge of fire safety procedures and assist during emergencies as needed. Follow confidentiality, HIPAA, patient rights, and corporate compliance policies. Perform routine facility and kitchen equipment upkeep. Work independently and as part of a team; promote a clean, safe, and organized environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience/Education Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Cashier experience preferred. 2-3 years prior experience in commercial food service operations, restaurant, hotel or housekeeping operations preferred.
