Assembly Worker - Manufacturing Express Employment Professionals is hiring an Assembly Worker for a client in the Victor, NY area! This hands-on opportunity is ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and experience using tools in a manufacturing environment. In this role, you will assemble components and finished products, perform quality checks, and work with your team to meet production goals while maintaining a safe, organized workspace. Key Responsibilities Assemble mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments. Follow technical drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions to complete work accurately. Inspect parts and finished assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards. Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify measurements. Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely, as trained and authorized. Lift and move materials using proper handling techniques and safety procedures. Communicate assembly issues or quality concerns to supervisors. Work with team members to meet production targets and identify ways to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all workplace safety procedures. Qualifications Previous manufacturing, factory, or assembly experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools. Ability to read and follow technical drawings and written assembly instructions. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work collaboratively in a production environment.
