Back-to-School Passport Challenge Rules

By completing activities on your Back-to-School Passport and submitting your entry form, you will be automatically entered into the corresponding biweekly drawing. Participants who complete their entire passport will be eligible for the grand prize drawing.

Winners will be selected randomly from all eligible entries received during each drawing period. Winners will be notified within seven (7) business days of each drawing date via email.

Giveaway Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS GIVEAWAY, EACH PARTICIPANT REPRESENTS AND WARRANTS THAT HE OR SHE MEETS THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS DETAILED IN THESE RULES. FAILURE TO MEET ALL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION. ENTRY CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE RULES. ALL ENTRIES BECOME THE PROPERTY OF TALLO AND ITS AFFILIATES (THE “SPONSOR”) AND WILL NOT BE RETURNED OR ACKNOWLEDGED. SPONSOR’S DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING ON ALL MATTERS.

This giveaway begins at 12:01 AM PT on August 25, 2025 and ends at 11:59 PM PT on October 19, 2025, with a grand prize drawing period extending to October 27, 2025.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to all residents of the United States who are age 13 or older. Participants under the age of 18 must have parental consent to participate. If a winner is below the age of majority in his or her state or jurisdiction, the winner’s parent or legal guardian may be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and/or agree to these rules in writing on their behalf and on behalf of the minor child. Employees of Sponsor and its respective parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, retailers, distributors (collectively, “Contest Entities”), and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter or win. Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Passport activities may be completed at any time during the giveaway period (August 25 – October 27, 2025). To be eligible for biweekly drawings, participants must have completed at least two (2) activities from their Back-to-School Passport and submit an entry form selecting two (2) completed activities by 12:01 AM PT on each drawing date. Participants may enter multiple biweekly drawings by submitting separate entry forms. To be eligible for the grand prize drawing, participants must complete their entire Back-to-School Passport and submit their completed passport by 12:01 AM PT on October 27, 2025.

DRAWING PERIODS & ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

First Drawing (September 8, 2025): Entry period August 25 – September 8, 2025 (select 2 completed activities)
Second Drawing (September 22, 2025): Entry period September 9 – September 22, 2025 (select 2 completed activities)
Third Drawing (October 6, 2025): Entry period September 23 – October 6, 2025 (select 2 completed activities)
Fourth Drawing (October 20, 2025): Entry period October 7 – October 20, 2025 (select 2 completed activities)
Grand Prize Drawing (October 27, 2025): Complete entire passport by October 27, 2025

WINNING ENTRIES: Winners will be selected randomly from all eligible entries received for each drawing period. The Sponsor reserves the right (i) to reject any entry that does not meet the completion and submission requirements; (ii) to not award a prize if, in its sole and absolute discretion, it does not receive a sufficient number of eligible and qualified entries; and (iii) to cancel the giveaway if prevented from timely continuing with it as planned herein by any event beyond its control.

WINNER NOTIFICATION: Winners will be notified via email no more than seven (7) business days after each respective drawing date. Winners must respond within seventy-two (72) hours of notification to claim their prize. Prizes must be claimed within sixty (60) days of winner notification. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. No substitutions are permitted except Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize or portion of any prize with one of equal or greater value in case of unavailability.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: Winners acknowledge that the Sponsor and all other businesses concerned with this giveaway and their agents do not make, nor are in any manner responsible for any warranty, representations, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the quality, condition, fitness or merchantability of any aspect of any prize. By entering, participants agree that their submitted passport activities and feedback may be used anonymously for educational and program improvement purposes in Tallo’s content and resources. Except where prohibited by law, entry and acceptance of prize constitute permission for Sponsor and its agents to use each winner’s name, entries, prize won, hometown, and likeness for purposes of advertising, trade, promotion and publicity (including online posting) in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification or permission. Entrants (i) agree to these rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, on their behalf, and on behalf of their respective heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, successors and assigns (“Releasing Parties”); (ii) release, defend and hold harmless the Sponsor as well as their employees, officers, directors and agents (“Released Parties”), from any and all actions, causes of action, suits, debts, dues, indirect or direct damages, consequential damages, incidental damages, punitive or exemplary damages, claims and demands whatsoever, in law or equity, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, against Released Parties which any one or more of the Releasing Parties ever had, now have or hereafter may have which in any way arise out of or result from entrant’s participation, acceptance or use or misuse of any prize. Entrants assume all liability for any injury, including death or damage caused or claimed to be caused, by participation in this event or use or redemption of any prize.

This event shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, U.S.A. without regard to its conflicts of laws provisions. Entrants hereby agree that any and all disputes, claims, causes of action, or controversies (“Claims”) arising out of or in connection with this giveaway shall be resolved by final and binding arbitration pursuant to this provision and the code of procedures of either the National Arbitration Forum (“NAF”) or the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”), as selected by the entrant. NEITHER PARTY HAS THE RIGHT TO LITIGATE A CLAIM IN COURT OR HAVE A JURY TRIAL ON A CLAIM. FURTHER, NEITHER SPONSOR NOR ENTRANT HAS THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A REPRESENTATIVE CAPACITY ON BEHALF OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC OR OTHER PERSONS SIMILARLY SITUATED, OR AS A MEMBER OF ANY CLASS OF CLAIMANTS PERTAINING TO ANY CLAIM SUBJECT TO ARBITRATION. OTHER RIGHTS THAT ENTRANT WOULD HAVE IF ENTRANT WENT TO COURT ALSO MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE IN ARBITRATION. The arbitrator’s authority to resolve Claims is limited to Claims between Sponsor and entrant alone, and the arbitrator’s authority to make awards is limited to awards to Sponsor and entrant alone. Furthermore, Claims brought by either party against the other may not be joined or consolidated in arbitration with Claims brought by or against any third party, unless agreed to in writing by all parties. No arbitration award or decision will have any preclusive effect as to issues or claims in any dispute with anyone who is not a named party to the arbitration.

Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of this event or in the announcement of any prize.

This giveaway is void where prohibited by law.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY FOR WEB ACCESS: The Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users, or tampering or hacking, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this giveaway and assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to the website. The Sponsor is not responsible for injury or damage to an entrant’s or to any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in this giveaway or downloading and/or uploading materials from or use of the website.

Multiple entries from the same individual for the same drawing period will be deemed invalid, and only the first valid submission will be considered for each drawing period. Participants may enter multiple drawing periods if they meet the requirements for each period.
