Now accepting applications for an ADON-RN. This RNleadership position will implement standards of resident care on a24-hour basis in the Skilled Nursing department and assist withoversight. The ideal candidate must have a current state licensureas a RN in good standing, must be able to work the clinical floor,have a shared vision with the team, focused on providing excellentclinical care, and present a positive attitude each day that willhelp foster an environment focused on continued improvement to meetteam members, residents and families’ needs and expectations.
Skilled Nursing management experience is required.
POSITION SUMMARY
ADON implements standards of resident care on a 24-hour basis inthe SNF units of the campus. This position oversees the nursingaspects, directing and evaluating of all Skilled Nursing personnelproviding direct resident care within the campus.
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS
: Maintains residents’ charts to include all admissiondocuments, care plans, records of care, and any other documentsrequired by state regulatory agencies. Operates the SNF areas incompliance with all regulations from federal, state, or any othergovernmental agencies having jurisdiction over the campus and actas liaison between the campus and regulatory agencies. Implementsthe administration of resident medications, assesses response tomedications and treatments and makes appropriate adjustments orrecommendations for nursing activity to be implemented Participatesin and leads staff meetings and implements nursing program Conductsdaily resident rounds and initiates corrective action as necessary.
Participates in and attends all in-service training and educationprograms as scheduled. Other duties as assigned.

Demands, Work Environment, andExpected Hours of Work:
The physical demands described here arerepresentative of those that must be met by an employee tosuccessfully perform the essential functions of this job. Thisposition is very active and requires frequent standing, walking,bending, kneeling, stooping and climbing. This position will berequired to lift or carry weight up to 50 lbs. and ability to pushup to 250 pounds independently. The individual must use proper bodymechanics to assist residents in their daily living. This positionregularly requires long hours and frequent night and weekend work.
TRAVEL:
No travel is expected although occasional travel may berequired for training sessions, continuing education opportunities,emergency situations, and other company functions.
E DUCATION ANDEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Two or Four year college or universitydegree required.
- Current state licensure as a Nurse is required.
- Two years’ experience in a similar healthcare position required.
- Five years of healthcare experience desired.
- Remain in goodstanding with all standards of the Nurse Practice Act.
KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Ability to read, write, speak andunderstand English fluently.
- Ability to meet or exceed thecompany’s attendance and punctuality standards.
- Ability to useElectronic Records and miscellaneous software and office equipment.
- Ability to understand and follow directions as given.
- Abilityto work with minimal supervision.
