Responsibilities Lead and manage the nursing team to ensure quality patient care and adherence to regulatory standards. Oversee the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures. Conduct assessments and evaluations of resident needs, ensuring compliance with MDS (Minimum Data Set) requirements. Provide guidance on resident rights and advocate for their needs within the healthcare system. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction. Monitor shift management to ensure adequate staffing levels and effective resource allocation. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of physiology and best practices in nursing care. Foster a positive work environment that encourages professional development and teamwork among nursing staff. Candidate should be energetic, self-motivated, and a team player. • Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with relevant experience in skilled nursing facilities. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Strong understanding of MDS processes and regulatory compliance related to nursing practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on resident advocacy. Knowledge of physiology and its application in patient care management. Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team while maintaining a focus on quality improvement initiatives. Prior experience in shift management is preferred.
