Job Description
Gastroenterology Locums•Maine Highlights No call or weekend responsibilities1-2 week blocks per month Travel and lodging accommodations coveredBread and butter GI•ERCP not requiredWork alongside 2 full-time physicians and full OR supportPractice Setting Outpatient and procedural (OR-based endo suite)Onsite lab and x-ray services availableAdults only
EMR:
EpicFull anesthesia coverage•CRNA + anesthesiologist in every caseSchedule Monday through Friday, 8-hour days with 30-minute lunchNo overtime unless pre-approvedClinic volume: 14-16 patients/day (only 1 clinic day/week)Assignment requires 2 weeks/month minimum
Procedures and Cases Required:
Lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopyUpper GI with biopsy, foreign body removal, banding of varicesPreference for providers who perform therapeutic proceduresRequirements Board Certified in Gastroenterology (ABMS or AOA)ACLS and BLS certifications requiredCOVID and flu vaccines requiredActive ME license preferred•open to IMLC physicians3 years of experience preferredCredentialing Requirements Credentialing timeline: ~60 daysInstitutional ADR submission required at name clear#J-18808-Ljbffr
