Full Job Description Description Job Overview:
The workers’ comp claims administrator is responsible for the intake of all claims from the initial inception of the claim and report them to our Third-Party Administrator. This role entails the gathering of discovery materials for the purpose of litigation. An essential function of this position is the timely retrieval of all documentation and reports to ensure that the department has all needed documentation in relation to the work-related injury. The claims administrator is also responsible for training the field in timely reporting of workers’ comp claims. This position is based out of Plantation, Florida.
Your Responsibilities:
Analyze the retrieval of all pertinent WC documents from the property manager and ensure the injured worker is sent to an authorized clinic for medical care Retrieve the DWC-25 form from the clinic within 24 hours and review for accuracy prior to uploading into the injured workers’ file Manages the WC files and works with the TPA for submittal of retrieved medical forms and update the Workers’ Comp injury report with any work restrictions or days out of work Assists leadership and associates with claim issues Manages

log chart and review for accuracy Manages discovery requests of litigated claims Manages the approved medical list and WC panels Manages the information to upload into the TPA system Recommends training materials from our training and development team to our managers to assure corrective action is completed and documented Conduct webinars and in person training of workers’ compensation reporting
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 3 – 5 years’ work experience as claims adjuster or risk management preferred Ability to articulate verbally and in writing Proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and ability to learn programs coordinated with our TPA Detail oriented and strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. Ability to work with sensitive or confidential information. Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure. Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently and be self-driven Excellent Computer Skills including Microsoft 360, Teams (all applications), Excel and PowerPoint Knowledge of Power BI a plus Knowledge or work in Risk Programs and training preferred
