$40.1K – $59.2K a year 1 day ago Qualifications Microsoft Powerpoint Microsoft Excel Human resources Organizational skills HRIS 1 year Communication skills Entry level Full Job Description The Human Resources Specialist will focus on monitoring the entire onboarding process which includes sending out pre- onboarding packets, ensuring all forms are competed, sending out IT equipment forms to Managers and reviewing backgrounds and Drug Screen results. In addition, on the employee’s 1st date of hire, the HR specialist will enter all new hire information in ADP. The HR Specialist is the Business Partner for areas of Stake Center Locating who will work closely with Managers, Recruiters and the HR Team. This position requires an organized, multitasking and detail oriented individual. This individual is expected to maintain good objectivity, be discreet and maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for performing the following duties: Complete the New Hire Checklist while managing and monitoring onboarding items in Clear Company for potential new hires. Oversee the data entry and processing of IT New Hire Equipment Forms. Review Background checks and drug screen results. Send New Hire Approval Emails to Managers Collaborate daily with Managers and Recruiters advising them of pending onboarding information as well as confirming start dates for new hires. Enter all data into ADP software on employee’s first date of hire. Ensure all required I-9 documentation is received and compete E-Verify. Uploading documents into ADP. Perform projects as assigned by the Manager/Director of Human Resources. Education and Experience College degree preferred. 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Intermediate to advance level of Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Previous experience with HRIS software. Experience in dealing with confidential information. Attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills. Organizational skills. Multitasker.
