Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality behavioral therapy to children and individuals with developmental disabilities. This rewarding position involves implementing individualized treatment plans, collecting and analyzing behavioral data, and supporting clients in achieving meaningful progress. As an RBT, you will work closely with families, teachers, and other professionals to foster positive behavior change and enhance quality of life. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference while developing your skills in applied behavior analysis (ABA). Sessions are Monday to Friday 11-4 pm and Saturday and Sunday 10-5 pm. Responsibilities Implement evidence-based ABA therapy protocols tailored to each client's care plan, focusing on improving communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, and feeding to promote independence Collect accurate behavioral data during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Support clients in managing behaviors through positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques Maintain detailed medical documentation, including progress notes, session logs, and updates in compliance with HIPAA regulations Communicate effectively with clients' families and caregivers to provide updates on progress and reinforce strategies at home or school Adhere to the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts, ensuring ethical standards are maintained at all times Skills Experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other disabilities Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and implementation of ABA therapy protocols Strong data collection skills for tracking behavioral progress accurately Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients in developing independence in daily routines Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement Home-based behavioral experience or school experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable Embark on a fulfilling career where your dedication transforms lives! $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
