Job Description Job Summary:
Production of Poly-ISO Insulation to published specifications. Tasks include operation of saws and packaging equipment. Knowledge of processing specifications, operation of production equipment, calculation of output square feet, sheet length. Other skills include the ability to read tape measures. Operation of forklifts.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Packaging Equipment setup, and upkeep of Lantech Change and stage lantech rolls Operate and troubleshoot packaging area, crossovers and robot light curtains Communicate product attributes to production operators for correction. Verify accuracy of bundle piece and unit counts. Ensure quality and proper packaging Housekeeping of plant inside and out Assist in training of new team members Fill in other areas of the plant as required. Cross-train in a production operator job within 4 months (Robots or Saws)
Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:
Knowledge and certified in Lock-out, Tag-out program Forklift Knowledge of processing specifications and quality standards for products Knowledge of safety aspects of all equipment as well as the plant's general safety policy Understanding the impact of sending incorrect/defective product.

  • including the ability to be a team player, the ability to pass on information and training of others.
Work Environment:
Activities occur inside and insulation manufacturing facility. Job includes but are not limited to exposure to the following: Temperatures exposed to both ambient/outside temperatures. Nuisance dust, use of chemicals, working with mechanical parts, pinch points. Noise of industrial machinery. Typically 40 hour per week with overtime as required
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
