Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lamda, Inc. (FBLA-PBL) prides itself on being an organization that prepares students to one day become community-minded business leaders by introducing them early to leadership roles and business expertise. Students use the skills learned in FBLA-PBL to show off their business knowledge and compete both locally and nationally as either an individual, team or chapter. FBLA-PBL’s partnership with Tallo (formerly STEM Premier) began in 2015 as a way to connect students with FBLA-PBL’s resources and opportunities with colleges and companies across the country. That goal of creating and inspiring the business leaders of tomorrow continues today with the renewed partnership between Tallo and Future Business Leaders of America.
Because of this partnership, FBLA-PBL students will be able to utilize Tallo to display their accomplishments and aspirations for the future. FBLA-PBL’s mission of helping students towards career readiness aligns with Tallo’s goal of connecting students with the right opportunities for them. Tallo CEO and co-founder, Casey Welch, says it best:
“Tallo was created to connect today’s students with the college and career opportunities that are right for them in a virtual environment. We’re proud to work together with FBLA-PBL to provide their students with the resources, tools, and connections they’ll need to succeed.”
FBLA-PBL students in middle and high school (aged 13 or older) can sign up for Tallo to create private profiles that showcase their accomplishments, connect their mentors with their profiles, network with colleges, and more. Students can even showcase their accomplishments within FBLA-PBL by requesting Digital Badges for membership programs including Leadership, Education, Achievement, Development (LEAD) program, Business Achievement Awards (BAA), and Career and Membership Awards Program (CMAP)! FBLA-PBL’s President and CEO Alexander T. Graham said about the renewed partnership this:
