Job Description Responsibilities :
Lead, mentor, and develop a national technical service team. Establish and improve training programs, technical documentation, and service procedures. Foster a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven team environment. Gather, analyse, and report on service data, trends, and recurring technical issues. Partner with engineering, quality, sales, and operations teams to identify and implement corrective actions. Manage customer escalations and ensure timely, effective issue resolution. Coordinate inventory planning and service parts forecasting with supply chain teams. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across service operations. Communicate with customer leadership teams, including manager and director-level contacts. Monitor and improve key service performance indicators, including response times, resolution metrics, service documentation, and customer satisfaction. Support field activities and travel to customer sites as required. The Successful Applicant Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience leading technical service or field service teams. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline. Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and software-based systems. Strong leadership experience including coaching, performance management, succession planning, and employee development. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Strong customer-facing communication and relationship management skills. Experience working with service metrics, reporting, and performance improvement initiatives. Knowledge of regulatory and safety standards within an industrial environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Fluent English communication skills; additional language skills are advantageous.
