Job Description

Site Aide Job Description The Site Aide supports the Site Director in providing a safe, welcoming, and engaging before- and after-school program. This position works directly with children, assists with daily activities, and helps maintain an organized program environment. Responsibilities Actively supervise children at all times. Assist with attendance, check-in, and dismissal procedures. Lead and participate in games, crafts, homework time, enrichment activities, and outdoor play. Maintain established staff-to-child ratios and keep assigned groups together. Support children with positive behavior guidance and conflict resolution. Communicate respectfully with children, families, school staff, and coworkers. Follow all Ivy League Kids safety policies and emergency procedures. Immediately report injuries, incidents, behavior concerns, or attendance discrepancies to the Site Director. Help set up, organize, and clean program spaces and materials. Assist with snack distribution and ensure allergy procedures are followed. Keep personal phones put away while supervising children. Complete required training and maintain CPR and First Aid certification. Perform additional program-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be at least 16 years old. Experience working with school-age children is preferred. Dependable, punctual, energetic, and able to work as part of a team. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain patience and professionalism in a busy environment. Must pass all required background checks and meet company and school-district requirements. Must be able to stand for extended periods, participate in activities, and lift up to 25 pounds. Schedule Part-time hours during before-school and/or after-school programming. Additional hours may be available for school holidays, day-off programs, special events, and summer camp. The Site Aide is expected to model Ivy League Kids' standards for safety, professionalism, teamwork, and positive engagement with children.
