We are seeking to fill a Slicing Operator position. The successful candidate maintains cutting blades, verify product dimensions and quality, and support general manufacturing operations as required.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to complete each essential duty satisfactorily. Set up and operate industrial slicing equipment in accordance with work instructions, production schedules, and customer specifications Measure and inspect sliced material to verify compliance with dimensional and quality requirements Monitor equipment operation and make adjustments to maintain product quality and process consistency Hone, inspect, install, and maintain cutting blades using established safety and maintenance procedures Accurately complete production records, report material defects, and equipment issues Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe work area in accordance with 5S housekeeping and safety standards Assist with inventory counts, material tracking, and stock organization Cross-train in other production areas and provide operational support as needed Perform other manufacturing-related duties as assigned by management

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

High school diploma or equivalent knowledge and experience Manufacturing, machine-operation, or related work experience preferred Ability to read and follow work instructions, production documentation, and customer specifications Ability to use basic measuring devices and verify product dimensions Basic analytical and problem-solving ability to identify and report production or equipment issues Ability to operate a forklift is preferred Basic computer skills for entering production information and accessing work instructions Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a manufacturing team Strong attention to detail and a commitment to product quality Dependable and regular attendance

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

Required personal protective equipment must be worn as directed. Physical activities may include standing, walking, reaching, bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, climbing, pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting materials. The work requires sustained attention to equipment operation, dimensional accuracy, product quality, and workplace safety. Mental and visual demands may include reading work instructions, performing detailed inspections, completing basic calculations, solving routine production problems, communicating verbally and in writing, and responding appropriately to changing production priorities and interruptions.

Pay:

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
