  • We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, and customer service-driven individual to join our team.
As a key member of our office, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care while supporting our doctors in their daily activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optometry and a passion for the health and well-being of others, as well as an enjoyment of working in a clinical environment.
  • Duties
  • Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and answering phone calls.
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Check patients in and out.
  • Explain insurance coverage to patients when needed.
  • Process transactions for contact lens sales.
  • Keep track of patient payments and charges using an Excel sheet and our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines by maintaining the confidentiality and security of patient information.
  • Requirements
  • Experience working in an optometric healthcare setting.
  • Commitment to HIPAA guidelines and the security of patient information.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with patients, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Customer service skills to ensure a positive patient experience from start to finish.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$17.00
