Safety & Quality Control Specialist - CBP Facility -
El Centro, CaliforniaSummary:
This is an exempt position which reports Directly to Project Quality Manager.

Monitoring, inspects, and assures project work meets contract standards.

Maintains a Quality inspection system in accordance with FAR Clause 52.246-4, Inspection of Services - Fixed Price.

Contributes to the implementation of the QCP and ensures that all supporting documentation is kept current and accurate at all times. (I-Auditor)Continually reviews and suggests revisions to the QCP to meet contract objectives and to maintain the effectiveness.

Reviews and administers subcontractor Quality Control Plans.

Advise on quality, certification, and acceptance criteria for materials purchased, specialist packages, and services.

Follows up on open Corrective Action Reports and ensure they are properly closed out
Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements:
Minimum of two (2) years as the Quality Control Specialist on an Operation and Maintenance (O&M) contract greater than $5MM per year. STEM associate's degree desired Military/civil service experience highly desirable Working knowledge of: Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, PMBOK, TQM Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) desirable. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters Ability to work independently and recommend solutions to problems Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint Superior attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while attending to multiple tasks and demands Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
Salary:
$75,000 annually A background check and drug screen will be conducted for this position.
