Were a family-owned custom manufacturer and upfitter of Class B RVs, adventure vans, box trucks, trailers, and specialty commercial vehicles, and were growing. Every vehicle is hand-built to exact customer specifications (Built Your Way!). If you are an experienced finish carpenter who takes pride in hand-crafting cabinetry that lasts a lifetime, and you want to work in a relaxed, hands-on shop with real variety, wed love to meet you. Position Overview This is a manufacturing-focused Carpenter role in our Carpentry department. You will hand-craft the entire interior of custom recreational and commercial vehicles upper and lower cabinets, countertops, trim, and appliance openings built to each specification. Every build is unique. Working inside a van requires creative thinking, engineering, and problem-solving: curved walls, irregular floors and ceilings, tight spaces, and one-off layouts. You will build from raw materials, with CNC-produced components used where they help. Experienced carpenters on the team will teach you how we build and how we engineer within the constraints of a vehicle. We are looking for craftsmen who deliver sturdy, secure, durable work that meets the standards of luxury custom vehicles. Who Should Apply
Experienced finish carpenters and cabinetmakers from custom cabinetry shops, furniture manufacturing, or high-end millwork
Woodworkers who have built complete cabinet systems boxes, face frames, doors, drawers, countertops, and trim from raw stock
Craftsmen from RV, conversion van, marine, or aircraft interior shops who are used to scribing and fitting work to irregular surfaces
Problem-solvers who enjoy engineering a one-off interior rather than repeating the same house-framing or trim package
This is not a framing role and not a residential trim-carpenter role.
We need finish cabinetry skill:
tight joints, clean reveals, accurate appliance openings, and cabinetry that is scribed and secured to the vehicle so it stays solid for the life of the coach.
Key Responsibilities:
Hand-craft complete vehicle interiors: upper and lower cabinets, countertops, trim, partitions, and built-ins from raw materials
Build to accommodate appliances and equipment specified for each coach refrigerators, microwaves, stovetops, sinks, and other one-off items with accurate openings and solid mounting
Scribe cabinetry and trim to curved and irregular walls, ceilings, and floors so every piece fits the vehicle, not a square room
Plan and engineer layouts inside tight van and truck envelopes: structure, fastening, weight, access, and how cabinets meet electrical, plumbing, and appliances
Use table saws, track saws, routers, biscuit/domino joiners, sanders, air tools, and related equipment; incorporate CNC-cut components where they support the build
Install finished cabinetry in the vehicle level, plumb, locked down, and ready for other trades Inspect your work for fit, finish, strength, and durability before hand-off; correct issues before they leave the bay
Collaborate daily with laminators, electrical, plumbing, and assembly so each unique build stays on track
Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow shop safety practices Work Environment Relaxed shop with large bays and plenty of fans.
You will work on a wide variety of one-of-a-kind projects from luxury Class B RVs and adventure vans to commercial specialty vehicles (mobile medical, barber, food service, and more). This is hands-on custom fabrication, not a high-volume production line. Every build is different. Schedule & Compensation Full-time position
