• Position Summary:

  The
• Equipment Operator I
• is primarily responsible for operation of power equipment, including reach trucks, forklifts, dock lifts, and other machinery, to move inventory, pallets and cartons throughout the distribution center.

Job Responsibilities:

• Apply basic math skills to verify and adjust quantities, accurately fulfill orders, and make necessary adjustments,
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), radio frequency (RF) scanners, and other equipment to complete job duties
• Follow written, verbal, and computer-delivered instructions accurately to perform assigned tasks
• Identify inventory correctly and match product numbers to ensure proper handling and storage
• Demonstrate manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination for tasks requiring grasping, holding, or fine motor skills
• Maintain accurate records and verify documentation to support merchandise flow through the distribution center
• Operate motorized and non-motorized power equipment such as forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and order selectors for majority of working hours
• Adhere to all company safety protocols, to ensure a safe work environment
• When necessary, individual is flexible and willing to work in other areas of the DC

• Minimum Salary:

• $19.00 VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.
• Qualifications
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in a distribution, warehouse, or logistics environment is a plus
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for the duration of shift with breaks
• Complete required power equipment training and obtain certification/licensure upon hire
• Ability to multitask
• Self-motivated and team oriented
