In this role, you'll guide students, parents, and educators in selecting band and orchestra instruments, accessories, and lesson programs. You'll lead by example on the sales floor, support merchandising, rentals, and repairs intake, and help train junior associates. Responsibilities Provide consultative sales support to students, parents, and educators for instruments, accessories, and lessons Meet and exceed individual and store sales and rental goals Lead by example on the sales floor and support training of junior associates Process rentals, repairs intake, and special orders accurately Maintain merchandising standards and product displays Support in-store events and community outreach focused on music education Use POS and inventory systems to complete transactions and track stock Handle customer inquiries and issues with a service-driven approach Required Skills Retail sales Customer service Point-of-sale (POS) systems Inventory management Product knowledge - musical instruments Merchandising Cash handling and reconciliation Sales reporting Communication Basic computer skills
