Speech Language Pathologist in Chipley, FL

Job Description

Step into a rewarding school-based role supporting K-12 students through direct and inclusive speech-language therapy. This contract opportunity runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30am to 2:30pm (with some flexibility—consider 3 days onsite, 2 days remote if needed). You'll be part of a collaborative team of three SLPs, collectively managing a caseload of 160 students.
Desired Experience & Skills:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current license (or eligibility) as an SLP in the state of Florida Previous experience working in educational settings with K-12 students Comfortable providing therapy both one-on-one and in small groups Ability to deliver inclusive, collaborative therapy models alongside school staff Familiarity with supervising SLP Assistants (SLPAs) Experience with Frontline for documentation is a plus Strong communication, organization, and adaptability skills
Role Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy to students ranging from kindergarten through high school Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Supervise and support SLPAs, ensuring fidelity of therapy and documentation Engage in inclusive therapy, collaborating with classroom educators and integrating services Maintain clear records and case notes using Frontline Communicate regularly with teachers, families, and team members to promote student progress This position offers the stability of a school-year contract, a manageable caseload shared among a collaborative team, and the option for hybrid working arrangements to fit your work-life needs.
