We are seeking a kind and patient Teacher's Aide to join our Infant/Toddler team. The Aide will be a respected and integral member of our team. This will be a floater position. The Aide will support children ages 4 months to 3 years old. Learn more about us a www.rainbowbridgemontessori.com.

Job Details:

This is a full time position. The hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (includes 30 minute lunch break). Aide will participate in all aspects of the program, including guiding children through creative activities, playground games, providing positive discipline, snack time, toileting and diapering, cleaning up / preparing the environment for the next activities and next day of school.

Qualifications:

6+ ECE units including 3 Infant-Toddler ECE credits preferred. 2 years of experience working with young children in a childcare/babysitting or preschool setting preferred. Experience working with toddlers and potty-training techniques a major plus! Aide must be gentle, kind, patient and respectful of children. They must be confident around children, well-versed in positive discipline and courteous when guiding children with manners. Must be a responsible professional who shows up for their team. Must be a good collaborator with colleagues. Aide must be open to training and feedback from lead teacher, and be a constructive and open communicator. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Must pass all health (incl. TB test) and background clearances mandated by law. These include criminal record clearances and health statement/TB test. MMR, TDaP, and annual Flu vaccines are mandatory. Current Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification a plus.
